thank you for your reply.

I was not trying to compile in Netbeans - as the instructions rightly say:

If you encounter a red underline, it's a sign that Netbeans spots an error in your code.

so I was trying to figure this out. I tryed to locate aida.jar as you recommended and it was not in the same place from where I took lcsim.jar (I followed instructions to get lcsim.jar). I am not sure how to look for it otherwise - feel free to send me to relevant reading/links.

I read instructions to the end and I tryed to load Analysis103 in JAS3 to compile and to run it but I could not find where Netbeans saved it - hence my second question about how to save properly projects in Netbeans and how to load them then into JAS3. I guess it's related to the setting correctly Class Path in JAS3.

Thanks again for your help - I feel myself a student again indeed!
