Hi Tomas,

there are several Java implementations of neural networks available on the web.
For example:
http://www.jeffheaton.com/ai
http://www-ra.informatik.uni-tuebingen.de/software/JavaNNS/w elcome_e.html

None of those is distributed with org.lcsim at the moment, so you are free to choose whichever implementation you feel most comfortable with.
I have personally used the predecessor of the program advertied at the second link, and I can attest that it is quite usable.
