Would it be useful if there were a field somewhere which stored the precision of the readout electronics?

I think it would be useful in determining whether a pulse was an overflow or underflow. However, I'm not sure if it would be a per-channel parameter.

Currently in the simulation I am working with the signal is shaped and then digitized. The digitizer has N number of bits and I store that in a ChannelCorrection::calibration factor, along with other factors.
