Heavy flavour hadrons in Mokka [message #2223] Wed, 21 March 2012 09:32 Go to previous message

Hi,

I am using the trunk version of Mokka, built with the trunk versions of the lcio, gear etc. While I was trying to produce some heavy flavour jets (for example using the command /gun/particle D*(2010)^+), I ve faced some strange behaviour.
Mokka printed out:

>>> Event 18, scanning sub-detectors

G4Decay::DoIt : decay table not defined for D*(2010)^+

*** G4Exception : No Decay Table
issued by : G4Decay::DecayIt
Decay table is not defined

I have defined the physics library and the particle table file inside my steering file:

/Mokka/init/physicsListName QGSP_BERT
/Mokka/init/PDGFile particle.tbl

The hadron D*(2010)^+ is defined inside particle.tbl.

Thinking that might something going wrong with my own mokka installation, I tried to use the one located under
/afs/desy.de/project/ilcsoft/sw/x86_64_gcc41_sl5/v01-13-04/M okka/mokka-07-07-p06

after of course defining the environment by sourcing the corresponding script.
I got exactly the same error message.

Has anyone face something similar?

Thanks,
Yorgos
