Hi Catherine, Jan,

you might want to take a look at the jet finder I put in org.lcsim as org.lcsim.event.util.JetDriver. This would solve Catherine's problem, since it creates a ReconstructedParticle representing each Jet, from which you can easily get the jet energy, with child reconstructed particles representing the particles in the jet.

This JetFinder takes ReconstructedParticles as input, so to use it as Catherine is using Jan's jet finder you would need to convert the MCParticles into ReconstructedParticles. This could be done using either the fast MC, or an (as yet unwritten) particle cheater.
